Abstract. The great failed experiment, so pompously called “the Arab Spring”, has been characterized by economic damages, chaos and the proliferation of terrorism in the countries which remained without masters. The Americans have set off all this chaos, believing that they will immediately change the Muslim world and, above all, North Africa, and they would become its absolute masters. However, this did not happen. The chaos period is increasingly visible, coagulating power centers that have the ability to bring the situation to normal. Apart from Morocco, all northern African countries have been “contaminated” by this political, economic and military scourge. The migration of these countries towards Russia has been rapid and obvious, because it is the only power that can support the process of entry into normal. But everything has its cost. Russia will not lose this opportunity to take full advantage of the resources (especially gas and oil) of these countries, to sell a large part of its production of weapons and technology and to occupy strategic positions on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and beyond. In fact, some countries have only reverted to their old relations with the Russians, hoping that Russia will help them to put in order the respective countries and to help them put their economies into operation, and other countries, such as Morocco, are entering for the first time in the sphere of Russian influence.
