Una din concluziile evidente ale acestui articol este creșterea constantă a populației islamice din cauza demografiei religioase și a înmulțirii ateiștilor, în timp ce creștinismul are un avans încet, ezitant din cauza nivelului mai înalt de dezvoltare socială și economică.

În a doua parte a articolului este prezentată situația din România la recensământul din 1992 privitoareka repartiția indicatorilor de fertilitate și vitalitate a crezurilor religioase.

The impact of religious adherence over the demographic evolution
One of the obvious conclusions of this article is the constant growth of the Islamic population because of the religious demography and the growth of the atheists, mean while the Christianity has a slow, hesitating advancement because of the higher level of social and economic development. The difference between the fertility rate in the Islamic countries and the one in the Christian countries is striking.
In the second part of the article is presented the Romanian situation at the 1992 census regarding the repartition of the fertility and the vitality indicators on religious creeds.
