Abstract. The presentation follows a line starting with education and culture related to water around the world, also in West Asia and Northern Africa. It continues with certified news from Arab Republic of Egypt, Arab Republic of Syria, The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, State of Israel and United Arab Emirates, concerning provision and demand of potable water and capacities of waste water treatment. The presentation concludes with remarks on water weaponizing and higher risk of COVID-19 in areas with poor capacity of fresh and continuous water supply.
