Curtea Europeană a Drepturilor Omului a dat o sentinţă în cazul deţinuţiilor în condiţii de securitate crescută sub o schemă statutorie care permite detenţia pe termen nelimitat a celor suspectaţi de implicare în terorism. Sentinţa reflectă linia subţire între implementarea măsurilor provenind din probleme legitime de securitate, regula legii şi drepturile omului.

The European Court of Human Rights has delivered a judgment in a case of high security conditions detainees under a statutory scheme which permitted the indefinite detention of non-nationals certified as suspected of involvement in terrorism. The judgment reflects the thin line between implementing measures arising from legitimate security issues, the rule of law and human rights.
