Abstract. Right-wing extremism has attracted many people in recent years, with groups and organizations numbering in the hundreds, with millions of members and supporters worldwide. It is the most aggressive and violent in the United States due to easy access to firearms. Right-wing extremists are seeking the removal of the democratically elected government and the establishment of one that represents their goals. Along with the Black Lives Matter protesters, right-wing extremists took to the streets at the end of May 2020. Some seek to accentuate the effects of the protests in order to overthrow the social order, and others only to fight the anarchists and anti-fascists who have caused significant material damage. The situation degenerated and many people died or were injured as a result of this interaction. Using social networks and chat applications such as Telegram Right-wing extremists organized and coordinated their actions or propagated their ideology. The present approach will highlight through qualitative and quantitative analysis, the trend of right-wing extremism in the US, the type of violence committed by followers of this ideology, their objectives, the extent of the phenomenon and social and professional groups involved.
