Abstract. In a globalized world, the dynamics of the exponential increase in information flows not only poses a challenge to our capacity for analysis and synthesis, but Romania must classify its priorities to address geopolitical issues in the European area.

Brexit, euro adoption, refugee crisis and Schengen accession, security issues in the Black Sea are considered as causes for the available limited internal resources.

The solution can only promote a foreign policy based on cooperation and dialogue with all geopolitical actors, even if they are or not part of the EU and NATO.

Only this can create a synergistic effect, which can lead to win-win solutions.
