The article makes an analysis regarding evolution and geostrategic importance of the Black Sea Region, security risks and challenges; consequences of the crisis in Ukraine and Russia’s aggression in Crimea for the security environment in the Black Sea Region; perspectives and opportunities for the way towards the improvement of the situation.
