The 2014 year will be a pillar of analysis and an issue of ideas not only for politicians, but also for economies and companies. The last months brought to us a different way to understand geopolitics and state behavior on international relations. Some special actions in the Eastern Ukraine forced people and politicians to think much more about choosing between real-politik and idealism and all consequences of this selection.
What was happen these months in Ukraine represents a Helsinki rules violation with strong consequences not only for the relation among former USSR states, but also for the relations among all states, who watch now how the borders are changing, after a military action. In the same time, all militaries and armies study now the new kind of hybrid-war, learning some conclusions for future. At the end, we should accept that Ukraine situation helps us to have a better image of Russian geopolitics and to come-back to sovietology.
If we come-back to real-politik, the main question is what we’ll keep from the former analysis and what we’ll develop now, because the modern technologies create a specific complex of state actions. But for all of this, we need a better education system and is our role to describe better today realities to understand future, which is very close to us.
