Această lucrare încearcă să examineze unele aspecte legate de gen ale crizei internaţionale economice şi financiare, concentrându-se în principal pe piaţa muncii. Autoarea consideră că printre primele efecte ale crizei la nivel societal care trebuie luate în considerare sunt femeile “disponibile” din forţa de muncă. Articolul prezintă unele din principalele aspecte afectând femeile în această zonă, atât prin examinarea unor probleme legate de politici, cât şi de structura de gen a înşişi pieţei muncii.

This paper tries to examine some gender related aspects of the international economic and financial crisis, focusing primarily on the labor market. The author considers that amongst the first effects of the crisis at the societal level that must be taken into consideration are the „disposable” women within the labor force. The article presents some of the main aspects affecting women in this area, both by examining policy-related issues and also the gender-structure of the labor market itself.
