A new lead has been appointed to spearhead the company’s security operations in the region.
Cloud security company Zscaler has appointed Heng Mok as chief information security officer (CISO), Asia-Pacific.
Heng Mok, who will be based in Melbourne, will be responsible for leading the digital transformation offering, supporting companies as they adopt cloud, AI, data analytics and remote working.
The new appointee joins Zscaler from AGL Energy, where he served as CISO for almost two years.
Heng Mok holds over 20 years of experience across a range of industries, including financial services, government and telecommunications. His previous employers include ANZ, NAB and PWC.
Over the course of his career, Heng Mok’s responsibilities included risk management, compliance, technical design, infrastructure security, architectural processes, application security, security architecture and strategy.
