On the seventh day of the war, Russia decided to bomb Babyn Yar. 5 people were killed.
Babyn Yar is a tract in the north-western part of Kyiv, where from 1941 to 1943 mass executions of the civilian population, mainly Jews, were carried out, the total number of victims buried in Babyn Yar can reach 100 thousand people.
Every year, mourning events are held in Babyn Yar, where world leaders say the sacred phrase – “Never again!”. Let’s hope that these words have not become a commonplace duty for politicians around the world and they will really pacify Putin’s troops.
Putin wants denazification in a country where the president is an ethnic Jew. He is bombing Kyiv, the fifth largest Russian-speaking city in the world. Russia bombed the graves of the victims of the Holocaust, which the Soviet authorities did not want to remember.
About 250 Jewish families are hiding from the war in the village of Anatevka, a 40-minute drive from Kyiv. Now the area of the village has been bombed, and Russian tanks are a kilometer away.
The village was founded in 2015 by the Rabbi of Ukraine, Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman, and is intended to provide asylum for Jews who fled the Donbass. The name “Anatevka” is in honour of Sholem Aleichem’s famous story about Tevye the dairyman.
In Kharkiv, Torah scrolls are hidden in bomb shelters, the last time such events occurred was during the invasion of Hitler.
On the first day of the war, Russian rockets were fired at Uman, where the grave of Tzaddik Nachman is located.
The war will end, and denazification, decommunization and collapse await Russia, because today they have already dehumanized themselves.
