Our paper discusses the choices of Saudi authorities in dealing with cultural diversity issues. We start by assuming that respecting cultural diversity defines an international regime of most importance nowadays. Further, we take into discussion different national strategies to comply with its requirements. We pay a special attention to the European arrangement of multiculti and multiculturalism as a choice in dealing with cultural diversity and the ideological view it is based on. We assume that multiculti and multiculturalism define a particular choice for a particular context – notably European Union, especially Germany. We identify, as well, in European context choices favoring the prevalence of a certain culture. Finally, we take into discussion the Saudi case.
